Dr Jeanne Louw completed undergraduate studies at the University of Stellenbosch, in Cape town, South Africa, graduating MB.Ch.B. He continued his studies at the university to graduate as a Master of Medicine in the field of dermatology.
At the same time he gained acceptance as a Fellow of the College of Dermatologists in South Africa and also obtained specialist certification in the United Kingdom.
He was a consultant dermatologist in the United Kingdom, before returning to Cape Town. Dr Louw is a member of the Dermatological Society of South Africa and the South African Society of Dermatological Surgery.
His non-medical interests include reading (everything), electronics, computer programming and most outdoors activities, such as hiking and birdwatching.
